Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information PostAbroad ("we", "us") collects when you use the PostAbroad multi-brand social media scheduling platform (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the name and email address you provide when creating an account.
- Connected platform data — when you authorize a social media account (for example TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Pinterest, or Telegram) through that platform's official authorization flow, we receive an access token and basic account information (such as the account name, ID, and profile image) needed to publish on your behalf.
- Content you create — the posts, captions, media, and schedules you upload or create in the Service.
- Usage data — basic technical and log information (such as browser type and actions taken) used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
- To publish your scheduled content to the platform accounts you have connected, through each platform's official API.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Service and provide support.
- To display analytics about content you have published.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use content from your connected accounts for advertising or for training machine-learning models.
3. Platform access tokens
We never receive or store your passwords for connected platforms. Access is granted through official OAuth authorization and represented by access tokens, which are stored securely and used only to perform the publishing actions you request. You can revoke this access at any time from the platform's own settings or from within PostAbroad; revoking access invalidates the token.
4. How platform data is handled and retained
Data obtained from a connected platform is used solely to provide the scheduling and publishing features you request. We retain connected-account tokens and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect an account or delete content, the associated tokens and data are removed. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except where retention is required by law.
5. Sharing
We share information only with: (a) the social media platforms you connect, in order to publish your content; and (b) service providers that host and operate the infrastructure behind the Service, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access.
7. Your choices
- Disconnect any social account at any time to stop all access to it.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
- Delete your account to remove your data from the Service.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
